Job summary

Creative Dining Services at the College of Wooster is hiring for a Barista (Full Time, First Shift) in Wooster, OH. You will join a friendly team serving great food and beverages to students using state-of-the-art equipment.

The role offers every-other weekend off, paid holidays, opportunities for training and advancement, and breaks between semesters. First shift is 6am–2:30pm at Knowlton and every other weekend 9:30am–4:30pm in Macleod’s.

Qualifications

• Friendly, experienced food service professionals to join the barista team.
• Ability to operate a register and credit card terminal accurately.
• Willingness to follow all food safety procedures.

We are looking for friendly, experienced food service professionals to complete our barista team, serving great food to hungry students using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our staff have every-other weekend off, paid holidays, opportunities for training and advancement and time off between semesters to spend with family and friends during the winter holidays.

Core Responsibilities:

• 1. Prepares and presents food and beverages
• 2. Runs register, other devices and credit card machine accurately
• 3. Follow all food safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• 5. Communicate regularly with management about workplace needs and improvements.
• 6. Other duties as assigned.

First Shift is 6am – 2:30pm Weekdays at Knowlton and every other weekend 9:30am - 4:30pm in Macleod’s. During summer and breaks in the school year, shift times will change.

Physical Demands/Environment: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Environment may include hot, humid or cold conditions.
