Job summary

Restaurant Associates in Hartford, CT is seeking a full-time Barista to make coffee/espresso drinks and related menu items, following HACCP guidelines and maintaining a clean, welcoming service area.

You will greet customers, take orders at the POS, and work Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Prior barista experience is preferred, and training is available.

Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time staff as described in the job post.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders into POS; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Maintains HACCP standards and proper serving temperatures.
• Greets customers courteously and assists in buying decisions.
