Job Description for Barista at Eurest

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Barista positions at Eurest.

Location: 2250 7th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98121. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules; Monday through Friday. 10:00 am to 6:30 pm or 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and Wednesday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:45 pm. More details upon interview.

Pay Range: $26.00 to $27.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP guidelines and standards. Interact with customers and employees in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follow recipes and standards for food preparation.
• Keep display equipment clean and tidy during service.
• Clean equipment and workstation thoroughly after use.
• Greet customers courteously and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serve quickly and efficiently, preventing delays.
• Understand menu items and explain them accurately.
• Assist in selling techniques and customer decision-making.
• Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
