• We have an opening for full-time and part-time BARISTA positions.
• Location: Chicago, IL 60607. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous high-volume barista experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $28.20 to $32.43 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards. Interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts payments.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and temperature standards.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Follows recipes and production standards for food prep.
• Keeps display equipment clean and organized.
• Greets customers courteously and addresses concerns.
• Serves efficiently, explaining menu items as needed.
• Promotes sales through good communication and customer engagement.
• Ensures attractive merchandising of display foods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
