• We have an opening for full-time and part-time BARISTA positions.
• Location: Restaurant Associates at Brooklyn Botanic Garden - 990 Washington Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11225 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and part-time schedule. Days and hours may vary. Must be able to work mornings, day shifts, weekends, and evening events. More details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handle food according to HACCP standards, and interact courteously with customers and staff.

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Input orders into POS; accept payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and replenish supplies.
• Follow HACCP standards for food safety and presentation.
• Ensure sanitation of equipment and work area.
• Serve customers promptly and courteously, explaining menu items and promoting sales.
• Ensure attractive display of foods and neat serving.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
