• Location: Baptist Desoto - 7601 Southcrest Parkway, Southaven, MS 38671. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm. Days may vary, including rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous barista experience preferred. Willing to train!
• Pay Rate: $14.74 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Make and serve coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handle food according to HACCP standards. Interact with customers and staff courteously.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into POS; accept payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follow approved recipes and production standards for food prep.
• Keep display equipment clean and tidy during service.
• Clean equipment and workstation after use.
• Greet customers courteously; relay customer concerns to supervisors.
• Serve customers efficiently, preventing delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Assist in selling techniques and customer communication.
• Merchandise display foods attractively and serve food neatly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
