Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking a friendly, service-oriented barista for our Market Coffee Shop in the lobby. You will fulfill guest orders, prepare coffee beverages, smoothies, sandwiches and flatbreads, and keep the guest area welcoming and tidy.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Desire to satisfy guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 25 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide barista service at the Market Coffee Shop in the hotel lobby.
• Prepare a wide range of coffee beverages, smoothies, sandwiches and flatbreads.
• Maintain a welcoming and clean guest service area throughout the shift.

Baristas will provide service in the Market Coffee Shop located in the lobby of the hotel. This position will be responsible for fulfilling guest orders including preparing a wide range of coffee beverages, smoothies, sandwiches and flatbreads. The barista will provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests while keeping their work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about25 pounds)
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Licenses & Certifications:

Must possess or be able to obtain DABS certification

Must maintain a current Food Handler permit in accordance with local regulations
