Job Description

Provides customers with prompt service, quality beverages, and food products. Maintains a clean and comfortable store environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests in selecting food and beverages, providing information about available options, and upselling to maximize profitability.
• Prepare quality products including coffee and non-coffee beverages using espresso machines, blenders, and other equipment. Prepare food items according to recipes.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, and ensure accurate cash handling and balancing with sales reports.
• Follow all food handling, sanitation, TIPS, and health department guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels of work areas.
• Provide a high-level dining experience while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness to guest needs.

Qualifications

• At least one year of food service or Barista experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Basic knowledge of food and coffee preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform basic math skills.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Availability to work on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
• Valid Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one within 30 days.
• Maintain a professional appearance; ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
