We are hiring immediately for full-time BARISTA positions.

Location: Ballad Health Holston Valley Medical Center - 130 West Ravine Road, Kingsport, TN 37660. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time; days may vary, from 5:00 am to 2:45 pm. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Prior food service and barista/coffee shop experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $12.00 to $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items, handles food according to HACCP standards, and interacts courteously with customers and staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Accurately enters orders into POS; accepts payments.
• Replenishes supplies and maintains cleanliness.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and workspace.
• Prepares food per recipes and standards.
• Greets and interacts with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Serves food attractively and merchandises display foods effectively.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
