Job summary

Ziggi's Coffee is hiring a Barista to join our energetic team in Conyers, GA. You will craft handcrafted drinks, serve breakfast and lunch items, and help create a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with people, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and efficiency. Coffee experience is a plus, but we welcome enthusiastic beginners who are eager to learn and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Prior coffee experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to listen and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
• Ability to focus on customer satisfaction.
• Ability to practice basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and hot beverages.
• Ability to be efficient and organized.
• Ability to build good relationships with customers.
• Ability to maintain a clean work environment.
• Ability to keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime.
• Ability to be enthusiastic and outgoing with a passion for service.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
• Flexibility in hours worked, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food and drink orders.
• Prepare and serve beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones.
• Prepare and serve food items such as burritos, sandwiches and pastries.
• Take payment from customers.
• Maintain inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs.
• Keep the work environment sanitary and organized.
• Evaluate and modify processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
