Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Barista at Madonna University in a part-time role. You will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing hand-crafted beverages; duties include greeting guests, operating a cash register, and maintaining cleanliness and speed of service.

The position requires high school diploma or equivalent, prior customer service, basic food-prep knowledge, and the ability to stand for long periods. Shifts vary and pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and inventory controls is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Prepares hot and cold beverages (coffee, espresso, tea, etc.) and suggests menu items.
• Maintains clean work areas and operates a cash register following cash-handling procedures.
• Educates guests about offerings and engages in suggestive selling.
• Ensures accurate serving sizes and prompt delivery of beverages and food items.
