Job summary

CRISTA Senior Living in Shoreline, WA is seeking a dedicated Barista to support our residents and guests with warm, friendly service. You will prepare beverages and light foods, operate the POS, and maintain a clean, safe work environment in a senior living setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of barista/retail experience, a Washington State Food Handlers Permit, and a customer‑service mindset aligned with CRISTA’s mission.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year of barista, deli/café, retail or cashiering experience.
• Washington State Food Handlers Permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to safety requirements using Panini grill, toaster oven, microwave, etc.
• Prepare coffee drinks - hot and cold, using a coffee grinder, espresso machine, etc.
• Serve food to seniors, guests and staff.
• Handle cash and cash register/POS; reconcile sales and production records daily.
• Maintain clean work area; restock items and perform opening/closing duties.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers, staff and residents.
