Job summary

Eataly Short Hills is seeking a Barista to craft and serve authentic beverages at multiple QSR counters in a fast-paced environment. You will greet guests, explain menu items and upsell products while maintaining speed and quality.

This onsite role requires flexibility for mornings, evenings and weekends and is integral to guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates have prior barista experience, strong math and cash-handling skills, and the ability to work across pastry, gelato and Italian delicacies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine.
• Knowledgeable about coffee, tea and drinks.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso, coffee and café drinks at multiple counters.
• Provide guests with product details and recommendations.
• Set up stations and manage displays with allergen separation.
• Maintain FIFO dating and rotate stock.
• Operate POS system and handle cash accurately.
• Work across counters serving pastries and gelato.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume.
• Perform other duties as required.
