Job summary

Aramark in New York is hiring full-time Baristas to prepare specialty drinks, assist with food prep, and handle orders and payments while delivering memorable customer experiences. You will greet customers, operate POS, balance cash, maintain a clean work area, stock items, and follow health guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Barista experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a register/POS and handle cash/credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers and anticipate their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas and specialty beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Balance cash drawer, fill cashier slips, and make deposits.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Set up/breakdown coffee bar and maintain cleanliness.
• Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
