Job summary

Compass Group USA's FLIK team in King of Prussia, PA is hiring a full-time BARISTA to make espresso drinks and related foods following HACCP standards. You will interact with customers, enter orders in POS, and maintain a clean, welcoming service area.

The schedule runs Monday through Thursday 7:30 am–4:00 pm and Friday 7:30 am–1:30 pm with no nights or weekends at this location; the role offers benefits, free meals, uniform laundering, and free parking, with an hourly pay rate of $19.00.

Qualifications

• Barista experience or basic espresso preparation knowledge.
• Strong customer service and cash handling skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work a fixed schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
