Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Lexington, KY is seeking a full-time Barista to make and serve coffee and related items, following HACCP guidelines and delivering friendly customer service. Qualifications

• Prior barista/coffee house experience preferred; customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
• Enters orders accurately into POS; accepts cash payments and card payments.
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintains sanitation and orderliness of equipment, supplies and utensils.
• Greets customers and conveys information about daily menu items to support sales.
