Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Stateline, NV is seeking a friendly barista to join our coffee team at Harrah’s/Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. You will greet guests, help them choose beverages, and prepare espresso-based drinks to Harrah's standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean service area, handling cash, and delivering warm, attentive service. Previous cafe experience is a plus; strong English and math skills help ensure accurate orders and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience working in espresso or food service establishment preferred.
• Literate and fluent in English.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Good math and money handling skills.
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and connect with every customer to provide excellent customer service.
• Discover customer needs and appropriately suggests product with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals.
• Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and whole bean sales.
• Responds to customer needs and says thank you to every customer.
• Maintains customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner.
• Demonstrates “just say yes” behavior when taking care of customer needs.
• Prepares a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks.
