Job summary

Qamaria Coffee is seeking a friendly Barista to greet customers, prepare coffee orders, and help create a welcoming experience for every guest.

In this fast-paced role you will take orders, explain the menu, craft espresso drinks from basic to specialty, and ring in orders accurately on the POS.

You will bus tables, maintain a clean work environment, and contribute to a team that delivers great coffee and service.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile.
• Take food and beverage orders.
• Explain the menu items to customers.
• Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex.
• Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Bus tables and wipe down surfaces.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
