Job summary

The Post Oak in Biloxi, MS is seeking a Barista to provide the highest level of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. You will educate guests on coffee, showcase salesmanship, and deliver friendly hospitality.

Responsibilities include delivering consistently positive guest service, identifying customer needs, preparing espresso drinks, and handling cash with accuracy. This on-site role requires flexibility for early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays,

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable of coffee products and specialty food items.
• Record of accomplishment in delivering exceptional guest or client experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, double shifts, occasional weekends, holidays, and long hours.
• Team Player with a guest first attitude.
• Minimum age is 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Discover customer needs and suggests products with every customer to enhance services and meet sales goals.
• Prepare a variety of customer beverages such as espresso drinks.
• Responsible for keeping an accurate count of all money and comps received for customers and follow cash handling policies.
