• Offer product samples and inform customers of coffee shop specials.
• Provide fresh products in correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend coffee shop items to meet customer needs.
• Operate coffee shop equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines; label and inventory ingredients.
• Check product quality and sell-by dates; take appropriate action.
• Use espresso machine, blender, scale, steamer; label and stock department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Stay current with ads; follow safety procedures and food safety guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
