Hotel Indigo Gatlinburg Downtown is seeking a friendly Barista to join Bear Trail Café in Gatlinburg, TN. You will prepare quality coffee beverages, assist with breakfast items, and help create a welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced hotel café.

Ideal candidates have hospitality experience, excellent service skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in a busy café environment.

Qualifications

• Previous barista, coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash and credit card transactions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, espresso drinks, teas, and other café offerings.
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.
• Take guest orders and accurately process payments using the POS system.
• Prepare and serve breakfast items, pastries, and grab-and-go selections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked café.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to management.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Address guest questions and concerns professionally and promptly.
