Job summary

Sodexo Live in Seattle is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality beverages. This role requires flexible shifts, open availability, and the ability to stand for long periods.

You will greet guests, prepare coffee and other drinks, educate guests on the menu, handle cash, and keep the coffee bar tidy. Employment is full-time or part-time, with pay range $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service related work experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control.
• Barista certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with quick, friendly service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages to order.
• Maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food.
• Educate guests on menu offerings and initiate suggestive selling.
• Arrange coffee bar supplies and displays.
• Clean coffee machines and work areas.
• Record sales, handle cash and operate the cash register.
• Walk/stand for extended periods; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
