Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Barista to craft coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other menu items while delivering a friendly, efficient customer experience.

You will keep the workspace clean, restock supplies, operate equipment safely, and collaborate with teammates during busy periods to ensure fast, accurate service and consistent quality.

Applicants should be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; prior food service or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred and friendly, helpful service.
• Familiarity with preparing coffee, espresso drinks, teas and related products.
• Ability to follow recipes and procedures to maintain quality.
• Ability to manage tasks, multi-order workflow, and stay organized.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work with others to support daily operations.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and adapting as needed.
• Ability to safely operate espresso machines, grinders and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas and other items using established recipes.
• Greet customers, take orders and ensure a positive experience.
• Keep the workspace clean, restock supplies and maintain equipment.
• Collaborate with team to keep workflow moving during busy periods.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain presentation and quality.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and energy to support service.
• Uphold sanitation standards and safe food handling practices.
