Job summary

Target is seeking a Starbucks Barista in California to deliver a friendly guest experience, prepare beverages and food to recipe standards, and support team operations on the sales floor and at Drive Up. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

Ideal candidates bring a welcoming attitude, strong communication, and the flexibility to work varying shifts. Training is provided to help you grow within Target's Food & Beverage team.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience.
• Assist guests in finding items and resolving issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• Produce handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications.
• Follow food safety requirements and complete cleaning tasks.
• Support Drive Up and back-up cashier/OPU duties as needed.
