Job summary

Di Bruno Bros. of Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, PA seeks a customer‑focused barista to prepare and serve specialty coffee and tea drinks, interact with customers, and ensure accurate POS transactions.

You will maintain a clean workstation, follow safety guidelines, and collaborate with team members to deliver a great guest experience. Experience is preferred but training is available; flexibility with varied hours is essential to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• One year of barista experience preferred, but we love to train those passionate about coffee & customer service
• Availability to work varied hours/days as dictated by business
• A willingness to learn about our brand and our roasters
• An enthusiasm to communicate with customers and fellow Associates about current offerings and drink options
• Ability to process information/merchandise through computer system and POS register system
• Can multi-task and work well under the pressure of a busy coffee bar
• Ability to read, write and count to accurately complete all documentation
• Can move, carry or handle merchandise throughout the store
• You thrive in fast‑paced environments
• You are a passionate food & beverage lover with a positive attitude
• You have a strong work ethic, are reliable, and enjoy working with people
• You take pride in exceeding customer expectations

Responsibilities

• Make and serve specialty coffee and tea beverages
• Speak and interact with both new and regular customers
• Take and fulfill coffee bar orders for customer
• Complete sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers’ purchases, and accepting cash or credit card payments from customers
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
• Be punctual and able to observe regular and consistent attendance
• Contribute to a positive team environment
