Y-Axis Au Bon Pain Café at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana is hiring part-time Barista/Cashier staff. Shifts run seven days a week from early morning to late evening; starting rate is 13 an hour and up.

Weekly pay, paid training, employee discounts, and benefits are available. You will prepare hot and cold beverages, handle cash and card transactions on a POS system, and deliver friendly, efficient service.

Shifts available seven days @ week 6AM-3PM/3PM-10:45PM/5PM-10:45PM (shifts vary) must have flexibility.The barista prepares and serves hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee, espresso, tea, and smoothie drinks in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. Baristas are responsible for educating guests on our drink menus, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, and taking orders. As a cashier, you are responsible for processing cash, debit and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system. Cashiers balance the cash drawer, make change and enter purchases. Customer service skills are required. Starting rate 13 an hour and up, depending on experience!
