Position Summary

The Barista/Cashier is responsible for making quality beverages, generally specialty coffee and hot beverages, preparing food orders, working the POS, and maintaining the store presentable to guests by cleaning and restocking. Cashier/Barista must perform all tasks efficiently while providing excellent customer service to our “Paul” guests.

Position Tasks

  1. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages while maintaining brand and quality standards, and prepare food orders for guests.
  2. Properly handle and maintain all equipment.
  3. Respond to orders, questions, concerns, and customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
  4. Maintain brand standards and customer service.
  5. Assist guests with questions and understanding menu offerings.
  6. Observe and practice relevant health and safety standards.
  7. Clean and maintain coffee equipment according to manufacturer standards.
  8. Restock all grab-and-go items, disposables, bags, etc.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality, and/or customer service preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle large work volumes with accuracy and organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to prioritize, adapt, follow instructions, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

  • Starting hourly rate plus tips (estimated average $150-$600 per pay period).

Position Details

  • This is a full-time position with variable days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • No supervisory responsibilities.
