Empower Cafes in Massachusetts is seeking a friendly Barista to join our small, energetic team. The role focuses on crafting great drinks, delivering excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Weekend availability is required; prior café or food-handling experience is preferred. You will work in a fast-paced environment, support promotions, and help keep the café clean and inviting.

Formación

• Weekend availability is required.
• Previous barista, café, restaurant, or food-service experience preferred.
• Food Handling certification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages.
• Take customer orders and operate the POS system.
• Provide friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient customer service.
• Prepare and serve café food items per procedures.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized counter, kitchen, dining, and service area.
• Restock ingredients, beverages, cups, utensils, and supplies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Wash dishes and maintain equipment and work areas.
• Monitor product quality and freshness.
• Work with team during busy periods.
• Help create a fun, upbeat, and welcoming environment for customers.
• Support café promotions and events.
