Job summary

The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is hiring a full-time Barista for Cafe J, Ivan's Cafe, and Cafe on the Ave on campus. You will greet guests, craft beverages, and maintain a clean, organized workspace in a fast-paced dining environment.

Required are 1–2 years of barista experience and strong communication. You must stand for extended periods; pay is $17.50/hour plus tips at North Dining Hall under VP-UOES-Hospitality & Dining.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Barista experience.
• Capable of managing time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Positive and respectful attitude.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods (up to 6 hours).
• Follow food safety procedures for handling, storing, and serving food products.

The UOES division leads the University’s event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, research initiatives, athletics, alumni, and annual campus celebrations.
