Job summary

NYLA Café is seeking an experienced individual to join our Front of House team as a Barista and Bartender. The role involves working behind the bar, preparing both coffee and beverage selections, including beer and wine, and delivering friendly customer service in a cozy, neighborhood setting.

Morning or afternoon shifts are available (6:45am - 1pm or 1pm - 7pm); four shifts possible. Prior restaurant experience and barista skills are preferred, and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Restaurant experience with casual/fine dining preferred.
• Food handler's license required or willing to obtain within first three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Work behind the bar serving coffee and beverages.
• Prepare and serve beer and wine as part of bartending duties.
• Provide attentive customer service in a small, crowded space.
