Job summary

Cafe at the Square in New Orleans is seeking a mature part-time Coffee Shop Barista and Sandwich Maker to join our team. This role offers 4-5 shifts per week with morning 6am-1pm and afternoon 1pm-7pm, and open availability on weekends and most holidays.

You will welcome guests, operate the POS, prepare espresso drinks, assemble sandwiches and salads, and keep the café clean. Training is available for candidates with related food service experience; there is room for expanded hours as the cafe

Job description

Seeking mature Coffee Shop Barista and Sandwich Maker, 4-5 shifts per week.

Must be punctual and reliable. Morning shifts are 6am-1pm. Afternoon shifts are 1pm-7pm.

Experience with food prep and espresso drinks would be a big plus! Will consider training candidates who have other food service experience: server, host, cashier.

Part time to start, with good potential for expanded hours. No late nights.

We are open every day of the year, so availability is required on weekends and most holidays.

Important duties are:
