Job summary

Arbor Lodging is seeking a friendly barista to greet guests, take orders, and prepare beverages in our Indianapolis-area property. You will deliver beverages and light food, handle payments, and ensure service aligns with brand standards and safety rules.

• Provide quality and timely service in a friendly manner.
• Take guest orders promptly.
• Prepare beverages in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Deliver beverages/food to guests.
• Report tips in line with IRS regulations.
• Clean equipment and areas; restock service items.
• Attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Summary:

The barista is responsible for greeting, selling/order taking, preparing beverages and serving guests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process guest checks and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures.?
• Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management and report any deviations from policies, procedures, brand standards and regulations to management
• Comply with all guest service basics such as uniforms, name tags and proper guest greeting
• Be knowledgeable on hotel facilities and services to assist guests
• Impress guests with quality and timely service in a pleasant and friendly manner
• Take guest orders promptly
• Prompt preparation of beverages in accordance with prescribed procedures
• Delivery beverages/food to guests
• Report all tips in compliance with company policy and IRS regulations
• Clean equipment and areas
• Restock service items
• Attend department meetings as scheduled
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
