Job summary

Creative Dining Services is hiring a Barista at The College of Wooster in Wooster, OH. The role involves preparing beverages and food, running the register, and following food-safety procedures in a college setting.

The position features first shift hours (6:00am–2:30pm on weekdays) with every‑other weekend 9:30am–4:30pm; summer and holiday schedules may vary. We offer training and advancement opportunities and emphasis on a supportive, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.

We are looking for friendly, experienced food service professionals to complete our barista team, serving great food to hungry students using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. Our staff have every‑other weekend off, paid holidays, opportunities for training and advancement and time off between semesters to spend with family and friends during the winter holidays.

Core Responsibilities:

• Prepares and presents food and beverages
• Runs register, other devices and credit card machine accurately
• Follow all food safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate regularly with management about workplace needs and improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

First Shift is 6am – 2:30pm Weekdays and every other weekend is 9:30am - 4:30pm. During summer and breaks in the school year, shift times will change.

Physical Demands/Environment:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Environment may include hot, humid or cold conditions.
