Job summary

American Dining Creations in Tyler, Texas is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service by preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, educating guests on the drinks menu, and making recommendations based on preferences to enhance their experience.

You will operate the POS, take orders, restock supplies, maintain safety standards, and ensure a friendly, efficient service during each shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior cashier and POS experience preferred.
• Coffee bar and brewing equipment experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous barista or server experience.
• Basic math and effective communication.
• Must lift 30 lbs and stand for scheduled shift.

• Serve food and baked goods; may include sandwiches, muffins, or bagels.

• Keep supplies replenished and restock coolers as directed.

Location: Tyler, Texas

Summary: A Barista with American Dining Creations will provide exceptional customer service through the preparation and serving of hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Educate guests on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Follow recipe standards to prepare and serve coffee and tea drinks; customize specialty drinks as requested.
• Serve food and baked goods; may include sandwiches, muffins, or bagels.
• Adhere to all state and local food production, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Operate POS to complete orders, accept cash and charge payments.
• Keep supplies replenished, restock coolers, and take inventory as directed.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, dishes, designated work, and service areas.
• Remain focused on customer satisfaction through providing excellent service to all guests, clients, and team members.
• Listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manner.
• Be efficient and organized.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:
