Job summary

Canyon Ranch Austin is seeking a friendly Barista to join our iconic wellness hospitality team. You will prepare coffee, espresso drinks and café items for guests, taking orders with care and ensuring every drink meets our high standards.

This role emphasizes warm hospitality, teamwork, and guest-centered service in a resort setting. Both part-time and full-time positions are available, with shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm, professionalism and warm hospitality in guest interactions.
• 3–12 months of restaurant/food & beverage experience; barista experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stay active during shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required per assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and café items to resort standards.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Barista to prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and beverages while providing excellent guest service in a fast-paced resort environment. The role includes taking orders, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring consistent drink quality. The ideal candidate is guest-focused, team-oriented, and committed to delivering a welcoming hospitality experience.

What you’ll do as a Canyon Ranch colleague:

• Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees, espresso beverages, smoothies and other café items to resort standards.
• Take and confirm guest orders, including any special requests, using the hotel point-of-sale system.
• Provide attentive service by anticipating guest needs, ensuring satisfaction, and promptly addressing questions or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper stocking of the bar and work areas at all times.
• Greet each guest promptly and courteously with eye contact and a welcoming demeanor.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bring enthusiasm, professionalism, and warm hospitality while effectively communicating with a variety of guests.
• Part-time and full-time positions available with flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience. Previous Barista experience preferred.
• Position requires regular lifting of up to 40 lbs and the ability to remain active throughout shifts.
• Food Handler’s certification may be required depending on assignment.

The pay rate for this position starts at $20.67/hour.
