Job summary

Hash Kitchen Salt Lake City is seeking a Barista to be the friendly face behind Hash Kitchen's fun and innovative coffee program, helping guests build their dream doughnut bar and customize their Bloody Mary experience.

You will prepare coffee and espresso drinks, assist with our build-your-own doughnut bar, and ensure friendly, efficient service while maintaining health and safety standards. Training provided, tips available, and nightly shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DABC certification is required or obtainable.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Point of sale experience and responsible cash handling.
• Knowledge of coffee, espresso and related drinks is a plus.
• Experience with alcohol handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks for guests.
• Assist guests in our build-your-own doughnut bar experience.
• Oversee guests as they build their own Bloody Mary bar and deliver to tables.
• Serve tables when needed.
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Clean, stock, and prep doughnut bar; maintain equipment.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

A Day In The Brunch Life

As a Barista for Hash Kitchen, you will be the friendly face behind Hash Kitchens fun and innovative, coffee and build your own doughnut bar. You will prepare hot and cold coffee and espresso drinks and assist our guests in customizing their dream doughnut, imagine all the fillings and sprinkles you could possibly desire! As a Barista for Hash Kitchen, you will oversee our VIP’s as they build their own Skewers for our build your own Bloody Mary Bar. AS a Barista, you are a key player in creating a positive and memorable experience for our VIP’s.

• Prepare coffee and espresso, hot and cold drinks for our guests
• Assist guests in our build your own doughnut bar experience
• Oversee guests as they build their own Bloody Mary, ringing in the sidecar shots and delivering them to the guests table
• Serve tables when needed
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
• Clean, stock, and prep doughnut bar
• Maintain and upkeep of brewing equipment
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
