The Barista – Coffee Cart is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through the preparation and service of high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and light food offerings within a fast-paced casino environment. This role requires a friendly, professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to engage guests while maintaining efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with all casino policies and food safety standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and quality standards
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions using the POS system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked coffee cart at all times
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, following casino cash-handling procedures
• Monitor product levels and notify supervisor of restocking needs
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations
• Comply with all casino policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Provide prompt, courteous service in a high-volume environment
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and elevate issues when appropriate
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Work collaboratively with team members and other casino departments
• Report any internal control or state regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on‑site IGC agent, security, and supervisor on duty, in accordance with the company Self‑Reporting Policy
