NoMo SoHo is a boutique hotel located in the heart of New York’s SoHo fashion, art, and shopping neighborhood. We offer panoramic views, modern rooms, local art, and a distinctive dining and beverage experience, delivering satisfaction to our guests.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, people-oriented Barista to join our F&B team. The café is in the main guest lobby on the ground floor by the restaurant, offering lattes, cappuccino, tea, soda, fresh cold‑pressed juices, healthy shots, local craft beer, and wine.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service standards.
• Prepare coffee‑related beverages and service grab‑and‑go items.
• Answer guest questions about selections.
• Inform guests of food allergens in selections.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system (where applicable).

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience serving food in a restaurant.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A positive attitude toward providing exceptional guest service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tips or ServSafe Training.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• A passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Team player: works well as a member of a group.
• Desire to work in a busy restaurant with a bar.

For applicants in NYC, the anticipated compensation range is $17–$19.00 per hour. The pay rate offered to a successful candidate will depend on factors such as experience, industry, education, and work location.
