Sodexo at the American Express Lounge JFK is seeking a Barista to deliver exceptional customer service while crafting hand-made beverages. You will greet guests, prepare drinks like coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages, and ensure fast, friendly service in a busy lounge environment.

The role requires standing long shifts, cash handling, keeping work areas clean, and assisting with beverage and supply setup. This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer Service related work experience.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Records all sales, collects money, and operates a cash register following cash-handling procedures.
• Cleans coffee machines, restaurant areas, and preparation spaces.
