Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Morenci is hiring to support the Coffee Shop within the Recreation Center. You will assist with equipment, customer service, and promoting a marketing plan for the Coffee Shop while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include inventory management, budgeting support, and reporting. A high school diploma or GED, AZ food handlers card, and MS Office skills are required; preferred are barista experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must obtain Arizona Food Handlers' Card within one month of employment
• Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing practices
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
• Ability to maintain positive community and working relationships
• Competency in the use of MS Office Software
• High School diploma or GED (preferred)
• State issued Driver's License (preferred)
• Experience as a Barista or any food and beverage service (preferred)

Description Under direction from the Coffee Shop Lead, this position assists the Coffee Shop area of the Recreation Center.

Criteria/Conditions

• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
• Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
• Work is mostly performed in an indoor setting
• Occasionally work may be performed in a plant or outdoor setting
• Personal protective equipment including climbing harness, climbing helmet, gloves, safety glasses and/or other protective equipment is to be worn as required

What We Offer You The estimated pay range for this role is currently$16.50 - $21.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
