Job summary

Loews Kansas City Hotel is seeking a friendly, efficient Barista to deliver high-quality food and beverage service in a fast-paced environment. You will handle cash, take orders, and ensure guests receive warm, personal attention while maintaining accuracy and cleanliness.

The role requires basic POS proficiency, the ability to multitask across beverage prep and cashier duties, and a commitment to Loews service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a warm, professional manner following Loews service standards.
• Accurately record guest orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Prepare and serve food and beverage items, following recipes and timing guidelines.
• Process payments and handle cash, cards, and room charges.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment.
• Assist with stocking, merchandise presentation, and retail sales as needed.
• Rotate perishable items and ensure food safety practices.
