DESCRIPTION

The Scooter’s Coffee Barista is the amazing individual who creates a memorable experience for our customers by providing fast, friendly service and building connections every day. Previous experience with coffee is not required. Bring your special something and we’ll teach you the coffee!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide an amazing experience to every customer who chooses Scooter’s Coffee. Welcome any questions and seek opportunities to help customers find the perfect drink to make their day amazing.
• Take customer orders with a smile and enter them quickly and correctly in our point-of-sale system.
• Manage cash transactions following established cash handling procedures while creating a genuine connection with our customers.
• Craft customer drinks following Scooter’s Coffee recipes to ensure a consistent experience regardless of location.
• Deliver products Amazingly Fast. Scooter’s Coffee is built on speed and consistency to always keep our customers saying that was fast!
• Keep our stores clean, stocked, and ready to serve from open to close.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

• Work a flexible schedule from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary, following established procedures for requesting time off.

QUALIFICATIONS

• No previous experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to learning and mastering the Scooter’s Coffee recipes and techniques.
• Age 16 or older.
• Be a team player and dependable, punctual, and ready every day.
• Detail-oriented and self‑motivated.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Constant standing/walking.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crawling.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Occasional climbing of ladders while carrying boxes and supplies.
• Frequent spinal and wrist movements.
