Job summary

Fooda in the United States is hiring a Barista at a client location. You will prepare coffee and espresso drinks, stock the station, and operate the POS system while delivering friendly service.

Hours are 6:30am to 1pm, Monday through Friday. We offer competitive wages of $17-$18 per hour, plus benefits and 401k. Prior barista or cashier experience is preferred, and being comfortable with technology helps you succeed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks using standard recipes.
• Stock and maintain station supplies; keep area clean.
• Operate a POS system with accuracy.
• Build relationships with customers and create a positive environment.
• Deliver a high level of customer service.
• Demonstrate strong communication and a self-starter attitude.
• Follow Fooda Standards of Service and Sanitation daily.
• Escalate issues to Manager when needed to resolve problems.
• Shift hours: 6:30am–1pm, Monday–Friday.

Position Overview

Due to expanding growth, Fooda is hiring a Barista at our client location.

Who You Are

• You are comfortable with customers and enjoy customer service
• You are comfortable with handling cash and providing accurate change
• You are friendly, high energy and comfortable interacting with other people
• You are able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand on your feet for up to two hours
• You are comfortable with technology and running a POS system
• Prior barista and cashier experience preferred

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks and other beverage items using standard measures and recipes
• Stock and maintain coffee station supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
• Run and maintain a POS system with attention to detail and accuracy
• Build relationships with customers by maintaining a positive environment
• Go out of your way to provide a high level of customer service
• Strong communication skills and being a self-starter are required
• Know and maintain the Fooda Standards of Service and Sanitation on a daily basis
• Escalate issues to Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Hours 6:30am-1pm, Monday - Friday
