Job summary

Three Pillars Senior Living Communities in Dousman, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Barista for the day shift (7 am–3 pm). The role involves preparing a variety of coffee beverages, handling cash and POS transactions, and delivering excellent resident service.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain on hire), and prior barista or food service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
• Previous barista, caf, coffee shop, cashier, or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve brewed coffee, espresso beverages, specialty coffee drinks, teas, smoothies, and other caf beverages according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee brewers, grinders, blenders, and other caf equipment.
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Restock coffee beans, syrups, milk, cups, lids, and other beverage supplies throughout the day.
• Assemble and prepare caf menu items including pastries, breakfast items, sandwiches, wraps, salads, parfaits, and other grab-and-go offerings.
• Package orders for dine-in or carry-out and verify order accuracy.
• Process cash, credit card, gift card, and resident account transactions using the POS system.
• Balance cash drawer at shift start and end; report discrepancies.
• Greet guests with professionalism and warmth and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly and build relationships with residents, families, and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment and assist with opening/closing caf procedures.

Barista Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
