Snooze is hiring a Barista to craft beverages and cocktails, and to help serve a brunch-forward breakfast experience. You will greet guests, take orders, and ensure fast, friendly service in a lively environment.

We offer weekly pay, benefits, and discounts, with opportunities for growth within the Snooze team. This role is onsite and requires a customer-focused, energetic team member who can work mornings and brunch shifts.

Qualifications

• Barista tasks include taking orders accurately and delivering beverages with a welcoming attitude.
• Knowledge of crafting alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Friendly guest interaction and ability to memorize names and preferences.
• Ability to process payments and handle cash/credit transactions.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests and servers, recording in POS.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per Snooze standards.
• Create welcoming experience for barista guests by learning names and preferences.
• Accept payments, process cards, and give change if needed.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and equipment for efficient drink prep.
• Receive and serve food orders at the breakfast counter.
• Assist with restocking bar inventory and supplies.

The Position Specifics

You will be preparing and perfecting barista beverages and crafty cocktails. You make brunch even better!

• Accurately, professionally and energetically take beverage orders from Guests and servers, recording immediately in our POS system
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Snooze Beverage Doctrine
• Create a welcoming experience for barista counter Guests by learning names and order preferences
• Accept Guest payment, process credit card charges, and make change (if applicable)
• Maintains bottles, glasses, coffee, and coffee equipment in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
• Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including espresso/coffee makers, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the breakfast counter
• Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies

Certification Requirements

All county required food and alcohol serving certifications must be obtained prior to employment.
