Job summary

Vicious Biscuit in Charlotte, NC is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Barista to deliver polished service in a fast‑casual setting seven days a week. You will prepare beverages, greet guests warmly, handle inquiries, and maintain a clean, welcoming front of house while upholding our hospitality standards.

Must be 21+, obtain food safety and alcohol certifications within 30 days, and be able to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol service.
• Food safety and alcohol service certifications are required within 30 days of employment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Available to work weekends.
• Experience in a customer‑facing service role is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all beverages accurately and consistently.
• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
• Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy.
• Demonstrate full knowledge of the bar menu and pass the Barista test.
• Maintain garnish prep and freshness.
• Check orders for accuracy before serving them to guests.
• Maintain clean and organized barista areas.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently to accommodate new guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Familiarize yourself with the menu to make recommendations and upsell featured items.
• Inform guests about promotions, special events, etc.
