Job summary

Fooda is hiring a Barista at one of our client locations. You will prepare coffee and espresso drinks, stock the coffee station, and run a POS system with accuracy. Build relationships with customers and deliver high-level service in a fast-paced environment.

You should be comfortable with cash handling, have strong communication skills, and be self-motivated. Prior barista and cashier experience is preferred, with a friendly, energetic approach to teamwork.

Position Overview:

Due to expanding growth, Fooda is hiring aBarista at our client location.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Prepare coffee and espresso drinks and other beverage items using standard measures and recipes
• Stock and maintain coffee station supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area
• Run and maintain a POS system with attention to detail and accuracy
• Build relationships with customers by maintaining a positive environment
• Go out of your way to provide a high level of customer service
• Strong communication skills and being a self-starter are required
• Know and maintain the FoodaStandards of Service and Sanitation on a daily basis
• Escalate issues to Managerwhen necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve

Who You Are:

• You are comfortable with customers and enjoy customer service
• You are comfortable with handling cash and providing accurate change
• You are friendly, high energy and comfortable interacting with other people
• You are able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand on your feet for up to two hours
• You are comfortable with technology and running a POS system
• Prior barista and cashier experience preferred
