Job summary

Scooter's Coffee in Anna, TX seeks a friendly Barista to deliver fast, accurate service and craft beverages for customers. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare and serve drinks and food items, and keep the store clean and welcoming.

As a non-exempt, hourly role, pay ranges from $9 to $12 per hour plus tips, with benefits including a 401(k) option and meal and drink discounts.

Training is provided to ensure consistent quality and great guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, taking orders, preparing and serving beverages.
• Cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining store standards.
• Ensuring proper food handling procedures are followed.
• Stocking and replenishing food, beverages and utensils as needed.
• Maintaining inventory and communicating shortages.
• Providing knowledge about offerings to customers.
• Assisting with administrative duties including ordering products and organizing stockrooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• performing shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
• greeting customers, taking orders, preparing and serving beverages, and food items in accordance with established service standards.
• cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining the store standards.
• ensuring that proper food handling procedures are followed.
• stocking and replenishing food, beverages and utensils as needed.
• ensuring consistent product availability by keeping adequate inventory; communicating shortages as necessary.
• maintaining standards by completing regular trainings on time.
• efficiently serving customers by being knowledgeable about offerings.
• assist with various administrative duties including ordering products, organizing stockrooms, coordinating vendors, etc.
• researching and resolving quality and service complaints and/or issues.
• receiving, unloading and distributing deliveries.
• other duties as assigned.
