Job summary

LCMC Health in New Orleans seeks an RN Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Supervisor to coordinate a program-wide initiative, drive accreditation efforts, and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

The role partners with executive and clinical leadership to advance program development, improve patient outcomes, and maintain safety across services. A BSN, active RN license, and BLS are required, with 3+ years in clinical nursing preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in bariatric, surgical, program coordination, quality, or accreditation-related roles preferred.
• BSN required; active RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with executive and clinical leadership to assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Program.
• Oversees accreditation and credentialing processes and ongoing compliance with standards.
• Maintains policies, procedures, patient education materials, outcomes data collection and quality improvement initiatives for bariatric patients.
• Leads required committees and ensures staff training related to safety and rapid response to critical events.
• Coordinates patient tracking and data submission to required registries and collaboratives.
