Job summary

Consolidated Grain and Barge (CGB) in West Memphis, AR seeks a general laborer to support barge and truck loading operations. This role involves a broad range of duties based on daily needs, including cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring grain quality during storage and transfer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading/unloading barges and trucks based on daily needs.
• Fully participate in the Safety Program and daily pre-shift meetings.
• Comply with OSHA, company safety rules and environmental regulations; wear PPE.
• Perform barge loading tasks to meet drafts and quality requirements.
• Move grain to proper storage locations and maintain grain quality.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately; perform general housekeeping duties.
• Operate and assist with heavy equipment as assigned.
